Why I Encourage Almost Everyone to Drink It Almost Every Day
There are very few things in the world of nutrition and wellness that have earned such overwhelming scientific respect while also standing the test of centuries of human experience.
Green tea is one of them.
When modern research and ancient wisdom agree, I pay attention.
Thousands of studies have explored the effects of green tea and its unique compounds on human health. While not every claim is fully proven, the overall body of research is remarkably positive.
Researchers continue to investigate its role in supporting metabolism, cardiovascular health, brain function, inflammation, antioxidant protection, blood sugar balance, healthy aging, and even hormone pathways.
And honestly… this is one of the reasons I encourage almost everyone to find a way to include green tea in their lives regularly.
Not because it is a magic cure.
But because it is one of those rare daily practices that appears to gently support the body in many different ways at the same time.
Green Tea, DHT, and Hormonal Balance
One area that continues to interest many people is green tea’s potential role in supporting healthy DHT balance.
DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is created when testosterone is converted through the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. This process is natural and important, but excessive DHT activity can contribute to issues like hair thinning in some individuals.
This becomes especially relevant for people pursuing hormone optimization or HRT, because while supporting testosterone levels may improve energy, vitality, strength, mood, and quality of life, some people begin noticing unwanted side effects related to elevated DHT conversion.
This is where lifestyle, nutrition, and daily habits become incredibly important.
Green tea contains compounds that researchers believe may help modulate this pathway naturally. That does not mean green tea “blocks testosterone” or acts like a pharmaceutical intervention. Rather, it may help encourage healthier balance within the system.
And what I love most about this approach is that the potential benefits do not stop there.
The side benefits of green tea are numerous and far-reaching.
Ancient Wisdom Still Matters
One of the things that has always inspired me is Japanese culture and the reverence placed on tea.
There is something deeply wise about building health into daily ritual.
Not through extremes.
Not through obsession.
But through consistency.
A calm daily practice repeated over years often creates more lasting health than dramatic interventions done occasionally.
That philosophy has deeply influenced my own life.
“Einstein Tea” — My Daily Clinic Ritual
Every day that I am in clinic, I drink something we affectionately call “Einstein Tea.”
It has become one of my favorite daily rituals because it serves as a delivery system for many of the things I have learned are most beneficial when taken consistently over time.
And it always starts with a base of green tea.
Over the years, I have come to appreciate that some of the most powerful health practices are not complicated.
They are sustainable.
The key is finding ways to integrate beneficial habits naturally into everyday life.
My Favorite Discovery: Brewing Coffee WITH Green Tea
One of the greatest personal discoveries I have made in the past year was completely accidental.
One morning I brewed green tea first…
…and then used the brewed green tea instead of water to make my coffee.
The result?
Surprisingly delicious.
Smooth.
Rich.
Satisfying.
But more importantly, it transformed an already established daily ritual into an opportunity for additional nourishment and support.
For many people, coffee is already deeply woven into their daily lives.
Tea is not.
And instead of asking people to completely change their routines, I am always asking:
“How can we add value to something they are already doing consistently?”
This simple practice became a game changer for me and for many others who have now adopted it themselves.
You still get the comforting experience of coffee…
…but now infused with many of the beneficial compounds found in green tea.
Simple.
Practical.
Sustainable.
And honestly, surprisingly enjoyable.

Health Is Often Built Through Daily Inputs
The longer I practice, the more convinced I become that health is often shaped less by massive interventions and more by small daily decisions repeated consistently over time.
Green tea may not be for everyone.
Some people are sensitive to caffeine.
Some have digestive considerations.
Others simply dislike tea.
That is okay.
But for many people, finding creative ways to incorporate the wisdom of green tea into daily life may become one small step toward greater vitality, resilience, and long-term wellness.
And sometimes that journey begins with something as simple as changing the water you brew your coffee with tomorrow morning.
Small habits.
Ancient wisdom.
Modern science.
Daily consistency.
That is where transformation often begins.
